This workshop is designed to help frontline staff and youth workers become more “askable”: trusted, non-judgmental adults who can respond to tough questions with confidence, care, and accurate information.

  • A deeper understanding of their personal boundaries and biases when it comes to these topics

This workshop is designed for staff teams to build understanding, empathy, and practical allyship. Through interactive discussions and activities, we explore a wide range of gender and sexual identities using tools like the Gender and Sexuality Galaxy, unpack commonly used labels, and highlight the importance of pronouns and inclusive language. Beyond terminology, this workshop dives into real-world scenarios to help participants feel more confident and better equipped to support clients, students, and colleagues of all identities.
