Additional Workshop- In Our Feels

Consent, Respect and Safety

his workshop is for Grade 6-7 students who have already covered the basics of sexual health education. It expands on topics like consent, safety, and bodily autonomy, addressing challenges in both online and in-person environments. Through interactive activities and discussions, students gain tools to build healthy relationships, set boundaries, and navigate growing up with respect and resilience. The session includes an anonymous question period and can adapt to specific questions or concerns

  • "More Than the Talk is an excellent program providing a quality BC curriculum that engages students with modern and colloquial language by speaking in terms they understand. Alysha is thoughtful, and the program is well-researched and interactive. The program has successfully created a safe space for diverse individuals to discuss sexual health openly, free from judgment or stigma. The students quickly noted that the presenter was open-minded and kind, which spurred more questions and deeper analytical thinking about consent and their experiences."

The program tailors its content to address the unique needs of Vancouver communities, ensuring that individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds can access the information necessary for informed decisions about sexual health."
